SHIPPING POLICY

Muddy Water Bait & Tackle works extremely hard to provide quick and affordable shipping. 

SHIPPING EXCEPTIONS

Items with unusually large dimensions or weights, may be subject to a nominal freight charge. If you believe the item that you are ordering may be subject to a freight charge, please contact us at muddywaterbaittackle@gmail.com.

Rods and Combos, all rods and combos are packaged for extra protection during shipping. This adds an additional cost for the level of protection. We offer two levels of protection for rods. Trust us we hate receiving a broken rod, and let's be honest, no matter what carrier you choose your package is at risk of being damaged. 

Level 1: Is a standard heavy duty cardboard tube. Which gives you decent protection for normal shipping. Standard shipping cost.

Level 2: Is a Schedule 40 PVC pipe, which levels up your protection, this gives you a 99.9% chance your rod won't be damaged in shipping. This would be recommended if you have a rough carrier in your area. This is an additional $40.00 dollar charge to cover shipping material on top of the shipping cost. Ground Shipping will be shipped by USPS, FED EX and UPS. Muddy Water Bait & Tackle LLC reserves the right to use any of the three listed carriers. 

Recently, shipping carries are unable to guarantee on-time delivery for most packages. Muddy Water Bait & Tackle LLC will do our best to utilize shipping carries that provide the fastest and safest shipping service. 

If there are excessive shipping rates for any order, additional shipping may be added. Muddy Water Bait & Tackle LLC will contact you if there are any additional freight charges. 

Signature Required Shipping (Recommended)

If you would like your shipment to require a signature when being delivered, there is a $3.50 fee. This is recommended due to the increase of package thefts across the United States. Please note that Muddy Water Bait & Tackle LLC is not responsible for packages taken from your address. You may file a claim with the shipping company if your package shows delivered; however, is unable to be located. For more information, please contact us at muddywaterbaittackle@gmail.com

Orders shipped Economy will likely be shipped USPS and transit times can be up to 7 business day. Orders selected for standard shipping will likely ship UPS; however, in certain cases, orders will still be shipped USPS. Transit times for orders shipped UPS are usually less than 5 days. 

RETURN POLICY

Thank you for your purchase. We hope that you are happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return your purchased items for a full refund excluding shipping charges, if applicable. 

All returns must be postmarked within thirty (30) days of your purchase date. All items that are to be returned must be in the original packaging and must be able to be resold as new. 

If there are any discrepancies in the order you receive, you must report it to Muddy Water Bait & Tackle LLC within 24 hours of receiving your order.

RETURN PROCESS

To start a return, please contact us at muddywterbaittackle@gmail.com. 

ATTENTION: If your order qualified for free shipping and you want to return the item, the amount of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund amount. 

Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend you ship your package using a trackable method. Also, it is important to insurance your package for the full dollar amount. We will not be responsible for any damages during return shipping. 

REFUNDS

After we receive your return, our team will inspect the condition of the item. Please allow us seven (7) days from the receipt of your return to process your return. Refunds may take 1-2 days to appear on your credit card statement. We will notify you by phone or email when your refund has been issued to you. 

EXCEPTIONS

There are items that cannot be returned:

• Items that have been opened and cannot be resold as "new" items.
• Any special ordered items
• Any clothing or garments that have been laundered (washed) or tags removed.

Any items that have been used and are considered defective, must be returned through the manufacturer. All warranties are handled directly through the manufacturer and not through Muddy Water Bait & Tackle LLC. If you need assistance in your return process, please contact us at muddywaterbaittackle@gmail.com and we will be happy to help. 

If you have received an incorrect item at our mistake, we will exchange your item, and we will pay the return shipping. 

INTERNATIONAL

Import Taxes

There are no U.S. taxes; however, you will be responsible for any additional customs handling fees, duties and/or taxes. Because each country is different, and these fees change often, we do not know these fees. Your local post/customs office can give you this information.

If any international order is refused upon delivery for any reason, all customs & duty charges will be billed to you by Muddy Water Bait & Tackle LLC. Once a package enters your country these charges are not reversible whether the package is delivered to you or not. Orders may be returned after receipt if there are any problems. Please be aware of all related charges when ordering.
